On July 1, 2024, in order to commend the advanced members of the Party and encourage the majority of Party members to remember the spirit of their original aspiration and mission, the Party branch of CPEC held a grand ceremony to celebrate 103rd anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the awarding ceremony of the medal of the veteran Party member, Comrade Xiao Changjiu, "Glorious in the 50 Years of the Party". The medal is the highest honor given by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to party members who have reached the 50th anniversary of their party membership and have consistently performed well, reflecting the care and praise of the Party Central Committee.

At the ceremony, Hao Jing, the secretary of the CPEC Party Branch, delivered a speech reviewing the history of the Party, emphasizing the Party's original aspiration and mission, and calling on all Party members and mass representatives of the company to take Comrade Xiao Changjiu as an example, continue to carry forward the Party's fine traditions, deepen their work in their professional fields to improve development of the enterprise. Comrade Xiao Changjiu expressed enthusiastic speeches encouraging young party members to study hard and continue to strive.
